The OfficeConnect series is a group of hubs that have been optimized and designed for small Ethernet workgroups. The OfficeConnect hub 8/TPO is an entry-level model that provides the greatest economy for those who want simple yet powerful networking. It has eight 10Base-T RJ-45 twisted-pair ports and also has a MDI/MDIX switch to allow connection of either a workstation or another Ethernet hub for up to a maximum of 4 hubs in series. Cascading the hubs in this way will require the use of one of the RJ-45 ports, but allows for expansion and the addition of network functions such as print and fax services. The hubs in the Office Connect line are able to physically lock using the 'clippable' feature, which allow you to stack the hubs 4 high with the included stacking clips. The Office Connect hubs support easy Plug and Play installation, and your network can be up and running in a few minutes. The diagnostic LEDs are able to indicate packet receipt, packet collision, and port status giving you a quick viewable status of your network. There is also a unique Alert LED that signals excessive network use that will also help with troubleshooting.
