These edge-groove deck fastener clips are designed for use with air dried 5/4 or 1X hardwoods or composite, and PVC decking material. Created for maximum holding power to the joist, the Ipe Clip hidden fastener is molded of a durable polymer body and stainless steel insert. This stainless steel insert adds up to 3X the hold-down strength as other similar deck clips. The unique patented design offers fast and easy installation, while resulting in a professionally finished smooth deck surface with no visible fasteners. The installation method of 45 degree angled screws hold the decking tight to the joist, while allowing one side of the board to remain free to contract and expand naturally.
