The Jeffersonian Ground Mount is a sturdy and easy-to-install mount that allows any combination of Jeffersonian Collection instruments* to be mounted in your garden or yard, or on a deck or patio. *Jeffersonian Collection instruments sold separately (instruments include the #WV1LFB Kinetic Wind Vane, #JCD1LFB Cardinal Directions Accessory, #VRG7-2LFB 2nd Generation Rain Gauge, #T27LFB Drum Thermometer in degrees Fehrenheit, and #T27CLFB Drum Thermometer in degrees Celsius). The mount is made of solid brass and steel construction. Within a few months exposure to the elements, the brass finish will begin to age gracefully and develop a mellow patina. This aging process is what we call “Living Finish Brass.”
