A USB-C hub that combines both the USB-A (USB 3.0) and the new USB-C ports (5 Gbps) in an elegant aluminium housing. There are 4 USB-A and 3 USB-C ports with data transfer speeds of up to 5 Gbps. The LMP USB-C 7 port hub is supported by a powerful 36W power adapter, so peripherals can not only be connected but also powered at the same time. The ports with BC1.2 can charge and sync iPhone or iPad with up to 7.5 W. The diagram on the rear of the hub gives insight into power distribution between ports, allowing devices with higher power requirements to be connected to the correct ports. The hub can be used without the host power adapter, but only with limited port use. Power Delivery is not possible. The LMP USB-C 7 port hub does not support DP old mode. Therefore, it is not possible to use a video adapter on one of its ports. In conjunction with a USB-C (f) to USB-A (m) adapter (not included), the hub can also be used on older Macs with USB 3.0 ports. Simply connect the LMP USB-C 7 port hub to your host's USB-C (Thunderbolt 3) port (plug & play, no driver required) and you never have to worry about your USB peripherals again.
