Los Angeles Dodgers Talking Bear 2019 Kenley Jansen Special Event MLB

This Build-A-Bear was picked up at former Dodger closer Kenley Jansen's fundraiser at LA Live in 2019. This bear was available for guests if they made a donation which I did to get one.

This item features a Dodgers t-shirt and baseball bat attached to one paw. The other paw comes with a glove and ball that are not attached but can be "worn" by the bear (though the ball will still be loose). What makes this item unique is that it includes a recorded message from Kenley himself! These bears would be distributed to kids at LA's Childrens Hospital and Kenley would offer his words of encouragement! This can be heard by pressing the paw with "B-A-B" on it. Because the bear is 5 years old now, the battery may be losing its full energy but so far it still can be heard! Not sure if there's an easy way to replace it but I would assume a Build-A-Bear store can? Either way, an incredibly cool item for Dodgers fans! This item comes from a smoke-free home with a dog and will be mailed in a box.
