A Rare Oval McCoy platter with a Copper Service Carrier Set in excellent condition.
MCM McCoy USA Drip Platter measuring 12.75” x 8-5/8” x 1” - perfectly Inserts by slipping into a well-preserved Copper Platter measuring 15.25” x 11” x 3/4”.
RARE 2-Piece, Mid-Century Set.
The Copper Platter has 1.5” ruled-rim and is very shiny with no dents and little wear.
The McCoy Brown Drip Glaze has USA on back and not much drip on edges.
Research says it is assuredly a McCoy item all have USA and glazes were not always evident.
The fact that these were found together as one set and in great condition is unique. Not many serving sets are for sale. The fact that they were designed to go together makes this an appealing sale. Great condition, light vintage wear.
Sets often associated w MCM designs produced by companies like McCoy in the 1960s/70s, which had a rustic, oven-to-table appeal.
