Rare pair of vintage 1930s 40s handmade copper Comedy and Tragedy Mask brooch pins by Francisco Rebajes of NYC. Rebajes was one of the earliest studio jewelers starting back in the 1930s. A rare early design in a substantial format that makes a statement when worn! See my last two photos for a short biography of the artist from the Cooper Hewitt Museum, and a vintage postcard from his shop on 5th Ave in NYC from the 1940s. The comedy mask measures 2" by 2", and the tragedy mask is 1-3/4" by 1-5/8". The
