Replacement Ironing Board Cover fits Vintage Sears & JR Clark Rid Jid Models (Gray Twill)

This ClarUSA Premium Cover fits the J.R. Clark Rid Jid and Sears Models 5604 & 5631 from the 1960’s,These ironing boards have two wings at the nose/narrow end that can be moved in or out with a lever (See photo). Your cover is proudly made in the USA (Berks County PA) and is expertly crafted from either a silver metallic cotton with a heat reflective surface or a midweight 100% cotton twill in a variety of colors and prints. A nylon cord drawstring, fitted with a cord stop, ensures for a snug, long lasting fit. Two sets of ties will help secure the cover when the wings are retracted. We highly recommend you order an underlay pad to go with your new cover. If you order both the cover and pad, the separate piece of padding is cut to the exact size and shape of the ironing board with the wings up and the cover is designed to fit over the pad and hold it tight to your board. Note that the dense, needle-punched polyester pad is much thicker than the original pad and is too thick to be sewn into the cover.
