This RKI M-Series Chest has an offset lid for mounting flush against the front wall of the bed. The lower ends are offset 6" x 9.5" to clear the wheel wells in short bed trucks. It is made of 14-gauge cold rolled steel with a 14-gauge cold rolled steel lid stiffener and full arc welds. The lid is attached with two 4" stainless steel butt hinges that are welded to the box and lid. It features full-size stainless steel paddle latches, spring type lid props, and ribbed d-bulb seals. There is a 23"L x 6"W x 4"H small parts tray built into each end of the box. Mounting hardware included for floor mounting. Optional RKI Tray M is sold separately.
