Royal Copenhagen Blue Fluted Small Teapot 257 - Denmark. Royal Copenhagen Blue Fluted Plain Teapot - Denmark. Perfect for a sip of tea, the timeless design in cobalt blue is contemporary yet classic. Hand painted Musselmalet pattern in intricate lines and flowers with acorn topped lid on white porcelain teapot makes it very versatile. Teapot #257 with lid #30 holds 500 ml or approximately 2 cups, C. 1930s. Lovely for the collector.
Estate find in very good condition with no chips or damage. First quality for lid and teapot; possible lid replaced as the number is different than teapot. Interior is clean and appears to be a cabinet item; minor shelf wear to bottom unglazed rim. Stamped with blue waves Royal Copenhagen Denmark. Measures approx. 5.5" H; 7.75" spout to handle" Recommend hand wash.
